Madhyra Pradesh Temples & Heritage Tour Package Itinerary:
Day 01: Indore - Ujjain (60 km)
Arrive at Indore, pick up & transfer to Ujjain. Half day visit to the famous temples of this sacred city. Visit to Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Harsiddhi Shaktipeeth, Kal Bhairav Temple, Bada Ganpati, Mangal Nath, Sandipani Ashram (Lord Sri Krishna's Education center) & evening at Ram Ghat. Night stay at Ujjain.
Day 02: Ujjain - Omkareshwar (160 km)
Early Morning (3-4 AM) attend the Bhasm Aarti at Mahaklsehwar Temple with online booking. After breakfast depart to Omkareshwar. Full day visit Omkareshwar & Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga, Annapurna Temple, Bhakt Ashram & Narmada Ghat. Night Stay at Omkareshwar.
Day 03: Omakreshwar – Maheshwar – Mandu (120 km)
After breakfast, proceed to Mandu. Enroute at Maheshwar visit Ahilya Fort and Shiv Temple. Shop for Maheshwari Sarees & handicrafts at Maheshwar. Later proceed to Mandu. Half day sightseeing of this historical city. Visit to Jahaz mahal, Hindola Mahal, Rani Roopmati Pavilion & Baz bahadur Palace. (Mandu is famous for its beautiful architecture of Forts & palaces). Night stay at Mandu.
Day 04: Mandu – Indore (110 km)
After breakfast transfer to Indore. Indore is known as financial capital of Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival visit to Central Museum, Rajwada - Holkar Palace, Bada Ganpati, Lalbagh Palace and overnight stay at Indore.
Day 05: Indore – Sanchi – Bhopal (250 + 45 km)
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Sanchi (by passing Bhopal). Sightseeing of Sanchi - The world heritage site (A buddhist pilgrimage). Arrive into Bhopal in the evening. After check-in at the hotel & fresh n up, evening visit to Tribal Museum & Boat Club. Night stay at Bhopal.
Note: If you are staying for 02 nights in Bhopal, you can visit Udayagiri caves (20 km from Sanchi), Lakshminarayan Temple, Taj-ul masjid, Moti masjid, Sahukat Mahal, Gohar mahal, Archaeological Museum, upper lake and lower lake..
Day 06: Bhopal – Bhojpur – Bhimbetka - Pachmarhi (25 + 25 + 170 km)
After breakfast, proceed to Bhojpur Shiv Temple & Bhimbetka rock shelters. Bhimbetka is a natural art gallery and an archaeological treasure. Pachmarhi is a hill station, also known for the Pachmarhi Cantonment. It is widely known as Satpura ki Rani, situated at a height of 1100 m in a valley of the Satpura Range. Overnight at Panchmadhi.
Day 07: Pachmarhi
After breakfast proceed to explore Jatashankar, Handi Khoh, Pandav Caves, Priya Darshini view point, Bade Mahadeo, Bee Fall and Dhoopgarh sunset point. Overnight at Pachmarhi.
Day 08: Pachmarhi – Jabalpur (250 km)
Today after breakfast proceed to Jabalpur. Visit to Bhedaghat. Enjoy a mesmerizing view of Dhuandhar Waterfall of river Narmada and white marble rocks. Also you can experience the rope way ride. Overnight at Jabalpur.
Day 09: Jabalpur – Khajuraho (250 km)
Today after breakfast proceed to Khajuraho. Day at leisure or visit Raneh Water Falls on Ken river (20 km from Khajuraho). In the evening enjoy folk dance. Overnight at Khajuraho.
Day 10: Khajuraho
Full day sightseeing of Khajuraho (World Heritage Site). Visit to the famous and beautiful Erotic Sculptures at Western Group of Temples. Evening enjoy the sound and light show in the voice of Amitabh Bachchan at western group of Temples. Night stay at Khajuraho.
Day 11: Khajuraho – Orchha (175 km)
Proceed further to Orchha - old capital of the Chandela rulers. Later sightseeing of forts, palaces & Ram Temple. Additionally you can experience the river rafting at river Betwa. Overnight stay at Orchha.
Day 12: Orchha - Jhansi- Gwalior (20 + 120 km)
Morning after breakfast move to Jhansi. Visit to Jhansi Fort (Rani Laxmi Bai's Fort). Proceed further to Gwalior. The old capital of Scindia dynasty. Afternoon visit Gwalior Fort. Evening enjoy the sound & light show at Gwalior fort. Overnight stay at Gwalior.
Day 13: Gwalior departure
Half day sightseeing of Jai Vilas Palace, Tansen Tomb & Rani Laxmibai Samadhi. Evening drop off to railway station / airport.
